Julia was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Calgary in 2004. In 2006, Julia moved to Edmonton where she attended the University of Alberta and obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2009. Following Law School, Julia returned to Calgary where she articled with Kahane Law Office.
In 2010, Julia joined Kahane Law Office as an Associate where she maintains a general litigation practice which includes builders' liens, breach of contract, debtor/creditor issues and small claims/Provincial Court matters. In addition, Julia practices in the area of real estate, assisting clients with residential sales and purchases, commercial sales and purchases, mortgage refinances, title transfers, purchase contracts and rent to own agreements. Julia also advises and acts for clients in general corporate matters as well as asset sales and purchases.
During Law School, Julia volunteered with Student Legal Services, Pro Bono Students Canada and today remains committed to community service through her volunteer work with Inn from the Cold.
